You’ve nailed it too, that butter in the crumble is doing serious work. It flavours the whole blondie, then the apples keep it properly “crumble-ish”, and the white chocolate base just pulls everything together.

I knew these blondies were a gamble. Personally, I strongly dislike them. However, they get 5 stars because the bits without the bacon are delicious, they were well presented and delivered a day early. I'd order blondies from here again, but definitely not this flavour.
The bacon + maple pancake blondie is absolutely a “take a punt” flavour, so we respect the honesty. Delighted the bacon-free bites were a win, and even more delighted it arrived early and looking the part.

I love bacon and maple syrup, it's a delicious combination for a brownie. Coming from a sweet and savoury topping for waffles or filling for pan cakes.
